Important Note: Candidates recruited against Posts 1 and 2 (Joint Check Post) shall perform their duty only at the specified Joint Check Posts in the province. They cannot be posted in any other office of the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department.
Eligibility Criteria
Post 1 & 3 — Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) — BPS-11
- Minimum 2nd Class Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized board

- Height: 5 feet 7 inches
- Chest: 33 inches with expansion of 1½ inches

- Height: 5 feet 2 inches
- Age Limit: 18 to 32 years (for JCP post) / 18 to 30 years (for regular ASI)
Post 2 & 4 — Constable — BPS-07
- Minimum 2nd Class Secondary School Certificate (Matric) from a recognized board

General Eligibility Conditions
- Must hold valid KPK domicile
- Must be physically fit as per the department's standards
- Must meet the height and chest requirements mentioned for each post
- Age relaxation will be given as per existing government rules
- Foreign degree holders must provide HEC equivalence certificate
Required Documents
Documents will NOT be submitted at the time of online application. However, candidates who qualify the screening test will be required to provide the following documents for verification:
- Original and attested copy of CNIC
- Valid KPK Domicile Certificate
- Attested copies of all educational certificates (Matric / Intermediate)
- Recent passport-size photographs
- Character certificate from a recognized authority
- HEC equivalence certificate if qualification is from a foreign institution
- NOC from current department if serving in government job
- Bank deposit slip (original with stamp) as proof of fee payment
- ETEA Roll Number Slip (downloaded from ETEA website)
How to Apply — Step by Step
- Visit the official ETEA website: www.etea.edu.pk
- Create your profile on the ETEA website with your personal and educational details.
- Before applying or depositing any fee, you must print the E-Sahulat token from the ETEA website and get your CNIC verified from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk). Without verification, you will not be able to apply.
- After profile creation and CNIC verification, apply online for your preferred post on the ETEA portal.
- After successful online application submission, a prescribed online deposit slip will be generated containing your token number, project code, and personal information.

Print the deposit slip and pay the prescribed non-refundable test fee
through:
- Easypaisa App
- Easypaisa Agent
- Any branch of UBL Bank
- After successful fee payment, keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy with bank stamp) safely. Do not share it with anyone else.
- Do not send documents to ETEA office after online apply. Copies of testimonials will only be required from candidates who qualify the screening test.
- Candidates will be informed through SMS by ETEA to download and print their Roll Number Slips from www.etea.edu.pk.
- Test Date, Time, and Venue will be mentioned on the Roll Number Slip. No separate call letter will be issued via postal/courier means.
Important: Do not use a ported or converted mobile number. ETEA will send SMS notifications on your registered number, and a changed number may result in missing important test date communications.
Terms & Conditions
- Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test. Detailed scrutiny will be carried out at every stage. If found ineligible at any point, the candidate will be disqualified by the Appointing Authority.
- All candidates must create a profile on ETEA's website and get their CNIC verified from a NADRA E-Sahulat franchise before applying.
- Candidates qualifying the ETEA test will be further screened for eligibility criteria.
- Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only.
- Candidates must be eligible in all respects on or before the last date of application.
- Applications with fake documents or false information will be rejected at any stage — even after joining.
- Age relaxation will be admissible as per existing government rules.
- Candidates serving in government/semi-government bodies must apply through proper channel. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications with separate fees.
- The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies with valid reason.
